Our volunteers are crucial to the success of the Abaseen Foundation. Some of our volunteers have gone on to become Trustees of the Foundation. Could YOU help us in some way? We need help with fundraising, administration and event organisation. We'd be equally delighted if you'd consider taking part in our fundraising events. Keep an eye on our calendar for details, join our mailing list or contact us for more information.

Steph is a volunteer Strategic Fundraising Manager for the Abaseen Foundation and provides support to identify and apply for one off grants to fund projects identified in the strategic plans identified jointly between AF UK and AF PK.
Steph has been involved with AF since 2008 as a volunteer Strategic Fundraising Manager. Her first visit to Pakistan with AF proved to be simultaneously eye-opening, amazing and exciting and she’s now hooked for life! She is part of the fundraising sub-committee and will shortly be setting up a group based in London to provide a focus for all our supporters south of Lancaster. She is currently living in London and working for a human rights charity but has travelled and lived abroad for much of her life.
Ed is a strategist, analyst and communications professional with over 8 years' in publishing and media at BMJ Group and Discovery Communications. Engaging and relentlessly inquisitive with a real passion and understanding of international affairs. Currently based in London, he has lived in South Africa and has travelled extensively - mostly to get away from his hordes of siblings, the delights of being a quadruplet! Ed is involved as a volunteer with writing briefings, press releases and structuring communications for the Abaseen Foundation.
